Thoughts from Shakespeare

These thoughts from William Shakespeare (in "King John") cheered me today:

True love - true, inseparable, faithful loves - stick together in calamity....
Holidays - "high tides" in the calendar
Cliffs of Dover - a white-faced woman
England  - the utmost corner of the West, a (hen) coop,  a plot with a hedge with confining shores
Devil - sly, smooth-faced "gentleman", purpose-changer, breaks vows, cheats....
Death - peremptory
Greed is idolatry - Gain be my Lord - for I will worship thee...
God  - greater Power
A single man - is half a blessed man (i.e. he is not a blessed married man)
